Digging, trenching, or clearing ground? This Small Golden Spade from Niwaki can handle it all. Not only is it incredibly strong and sharp, easily cutting through stones, roots, and challenging soil, but it's also surprisingly light and gloriously golden. Crafted with precision in Japan, it's built to last with a comfortable YD tubular steel handle, firm tread, and a rigid steel pipe shaft that won't bend or break, even under heavy use. Plus, at only 980g (just over 2 lbs), it won't weigh you down. As you work with it, the paint will naturally wear away, and the steel will start to rust — this is your cue to start applying oil for maintenance.
